Monami Colored Pens

Last Sunday, Mica and I spent some time together. It has been a while that I’ve been with her. We went over our usual kikay talk over coffee at Krispy Kreme, but that time we were in Robinsons Galleria. After about two hours or less of chatting, we decided to drop by National Bookstore. I was just going to buy a GTech3.0 because I can’t find mine, but then I was amazed by the colored pens in the display racks.

And so I bought seven colors – because I can’t decided which color to buy, I bought them all :) ) (wala yung brown pen, hindi nakasama sa photoshoot )

They are all so pretty. They write smoothly and the colors are just brilliant!

I really lurve colored pens. When I was in college, I used to buy a lot of them. Colored pens usually give me the inspiration – they are cute, they are refreshing and they are very nice.

So Small – Matt Giraud

And then you figure out

Love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
Oh, it sure makes everything else
Seem so small

Matt Giraud is one of my favorites in this season of American Idol. And his rendition of So Small by Carrie Underwood has been playing on my iTunes for the last few days. It’s quite inspiring, especially now that I’m trying to rearrange my little crazy life.

Friday Night out With Sisters

My College Bestfriend, Roanne 3 3 3
ME and My College Bestfriend, Roanne

Last friday, my sisters Malen, Melai and Roanne went out for a lovely bonding night. It has been a long time since the four of us spent time together. I think the last was during Melai’s birthday October 2 2007. I know, that was ages ago. So I was really glad we finally found the time to be complete, for once in a while.

The Pink Life – a blog name and a song title

I was just scanning the list of search engine keywords that people use to find my blog, or keywords that gets people to my blog and there was “the pink life” among the list. And so I goooooogled it myself to see which comes first in the list. Of course my blog does, lol.

So what did I find out? That there’s a song titled The Pink Life (by Mike Doughty), there’s a couple of other blogs with blog name the same as mine (The Pink Life) and my previous blog name before this one (Living the Pink Life). Hmmm that makes me not-unique. Now I am wondering if I’d stick with Pink Urinal instead. Yuh, just to keep the unique-ness of it. Watcha think?

Anyhoo, for those interested about the lyrics of the song, here: The Pink Life – Mike Doughty Lyrics

You’re so Money; I’m so Impulsive

Youre so Money by Farnoosh Torabi

You're so Money by Farnoosh Torabi

I bought a book today. And it wasn’t planned.

Uhmm akshully, I planned to buy Bob Ong’s newest book but unfortunately no copies had arrived yet at National Bookstore Megamall. So in my frustration, I went to see some titles at the Powerbooks instead.

And out of my impulsive buying attitude, I bought a book about personal finance, You’re So Money by Farnoosh Torabi. I was actually thinking if I’d buy a fiction or a book on management, but with my current financial dilemma ( I promise you, when it comes to financial management, I’m the worst person to talk to ), I thought that buying a little book on personal finance would help.

So there. I got this green book in paperback. I just hope it’s worth its price. I bought it for $14.85 and I’m quite regreful because there are copies in Amazon for as low as $5.79(used), $8.11(new). Fail.

L’Oréal True Match Foundation

Loreal True Match Foundation

Loreal True Match Foundation

Out of the natural instinct as a woman to shop during sale, I bought two items that were totally not on my budget for this month. But I’m glad I did because I soooo love it! :D *heart heart heart*

So I got a L’Oréal True Match Minerals loose foundation-like powder and L’Oréal True Match super-blendable liquid foundation. I’m not a L’Oréal fan, before. It’s akshully my first time to use their products. And I was so thrilled that I found a shade that closely matches my skin tone, and that is Loreal G3 (Golden Beige).

So how was it, you’re asking? Hmm, I like it. I know that’s lame hahaha ^-^ But srsly, I lurve it! I didn’t find any difficulty finding the right shade for me, it only took me two test applications to find my perfect matching shade. Thing is, Loreal True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation doesn’t only match my skin tone but also my skin texture.

Britain’s Got Talent 2009 – Susan Boyle

Britain's Got Talent 2009 - Susan Boyle

Britain's Got Talent 2009 - Susan Boyle

My mom was talking about this Susan Boyle over breakfast earlier and so I checked her out at YouTube.

She’s 47 and she sings awesome. The whole audience was taken off their feet when she started singing I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables. I admire Susan’s self-confidence, and how she was able to ignore a thousand judging looks in front of her.

So see what I mean, click the image to watch the video.
