Yesterday I went to Flawless Megamall to get a body scrub. Am big fan of body scrubs but it was actually my first time to visit a beauty clinic to have it done. Most of the time I would just scrub my own self using body salt I would buy in drugstores.

So because I have a very busy day ahead of me, I decided to visit Flawless very early. I got there just few minutes after ten. And I waited for about an hour before I got my body scrub. And while waiting, I took pictures around the clinic.

If there’s one thing that I am most vain about, it would be my nails. I love them always neat and colorful. Next would be my hands and feet. I would never fail to get foot spa and home-style hand spa every two weeks. Yea, I am more religious with my nails, hands and feet than with my face. Ikr.

Beauty & Butter specializes in services like foot/hand spas, facials, and of course nail art! So I got myself a nail art too! How can I miss that, eh? (But will tell you about it on my next post )

Hai there. Last week I got invited to a blogger party night sponsored by Flawless and Beauty&Butter. I got to meet Lorna Tolentino and some beauty bloggers.

Ok, last week I went to Flawless Trinoma to get my first ever Flawless facial. I wasn’t able to bring a camera because it was an impromptu visit. So here’s the thing, I didn’t use to love being tan. Really. But then I realized going tan looks great on me and so every chance I get to bum on beaches, I’d make sure I get the tan that I so love.

That’s why almost every single product you put on your face has SPF: your moisturizer, your powder, your foundation, and yes even your lip balm. Let me tell you something about SPF (or Sun Protection Factor) that maybe most people aren’t aware of: the SPF number on your sunscreen or moisturizer or whatever product is that is like a multiplier on how long your skin is gonna burn under the sun. Yay I got a new set of brushes!

Earlier this week I ordered 5-pc brush set from Ellana Minerals and I received them last night. I decided to get brushes from Ellana because I trust their products. I bought a small face brush before and I have been using it ever since. So now I got a 5-pc set of brushes that comes with a very nice black compact pouch that I can take anywhere — a bigger powder brush I can use for loose foundation and blushes, an angled blush brush for contouring the cheeks, two flat brushes of different size that I can use for applying concealer, liquid foundation and even eyeshadow, and a brow and lash brush. Yeay! Boiffie and Bestie (and myself) got me a pink vanity box!

I saw this one from Suesh and I fell in love instantly. I forced my bestfriend and my boyfriend to pledge 1000 each so I can buy this. Hahaha it feels good to be loved! Thanks guys, I lubbyoo!

I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I imagined staring lovingly at while I did work on my laptop or when playing party poker. I thought about walking into the airport with it and the admiring glances I would get. Hehe! I literally couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

Two weeks  ago, Boiffie and I dropped by Suesh’ showroom in Greenhills to pick up the box. Unfortunately, they’ve already closed when we arrived. We were just a few minutes late then, and I cursed the traffic in Greenhills, and I was really frustrated. The next day, I asked the Bestfriend to pick up the box somewhere in Timog and he gladly obliged. (Uhmm okay, to be honest, it took me a lot of pleading to get him get the pink box hahaha) That was a Sunday, and after church we met and I was giggling like a little girl all the while!

I was so hyped when I saw my pink vanity box at last! It’s perfect for my little collection of brushes and cosmetics. There’s still plenty of room and it’s like begging for more products to be put there LOL Hello makeup shopping soon!

Making your face stay oil-free should not cost you a lot. So when buying oil control sheets that is definitely a must-have in every girl’s purse: SAVE!

You don’t need expensive sheets because they all practically do the same thing: remove excess oil from your face. It works by patting a sheet on your T-area where your face is most oily and poof you’re instantly oil-free and dirt-free and feeling refreshed!

I used to buy Clean&Clear control sheets since I was in high school. But that cost me around 100-120 every two weeks, I can’t remember clearly. And then in college, until now,  I am using Finess Oil Control Sheet which can be bought from Watsons for 30pesos and it works pretty fine for me. And yes, that’s a lot of savings too, I’m telling you.

So next time your Shiseido oil control sheets run out, I’d say buy the cheaper brand. You know you can always use the saved up money to buy that moisturizer you want from Clinique.
