They say “What you eat is what you are.” So if you eat healthy, you are healthy. Makes sense, right? That’s why doctors recommend an apple or eight full glasses of water a day.
Just last Monday, I went to the The Medical City because I am obviously having a grave sleeping problem. I was awake for full 48 hours. My body was shouting in agitation and pain, my eyes were popping red, and all muscles in my body was crazily shaking. I just can’t get sleep. The doctors prescribed little dose of sleeping pills to help me. Also, I was advised to stay away from coffee, chocolates and soda. Bah. This means either I don’t get to complete my Starbucks 2009 Planner stickers or I don’t get to complete it. I know.
So hello to fruit shakes as an alternative to coffee frappes and the like. I compiled some helpful fruit combinations to put on our shakily shakery kitchen blender and enjoy frappe type drinks, only healthy.
My personal favorite is Pineapple+Apple+Watermelon.
